On March 30, 2008, we took time off as a family to head off to Legazpi City in Albay to visit the natural wonders there and also for me to get together with my old good friend Dr. Rico Madlangbayan, who also happens to be the godfather of my youngest Hyker (whose birthday we will celebrate on April 1).

Our home base for the first two nights was the Black Sands Resort in the seaside town of Sto. Domingo, about 20 minutes from the Legazpi airport.
