for everyone

This is a link to the final project for my subject this sem at Grad School called "Integrating Internet Technology Across the Curriculum". Our professor for this subject is Ms. Anna Cherylle Ramos. As I wrote on my blog, this was designed on MS Publisher last October 7. Then it was finally uploaded on the Net last October 8, 2007.

The activity on this website of mine is a WebQuest. It is something that I learned about only this sem, just maybe 2 weeks ago. It is a teaching technique which promotes active learning in students using the Internet and its myriad of resources.

You might be surprised why I worked with an economics topic. My group mate, Mario Angeles teaches Economics at the Univ. of the East. He brought his syllabus that day we were to decide on our topic. I scanned it and saw how the topic on Population and Economic Development seemed to be an appropriate one for a webquest activity.

We learned later that while developing the topic was a group work, building the website itself would be individual work. I learned a lot from this subject, and at the same time enjoyed it very much.

This is so amazing, Fred! I'm so impressed with all your work on your pages. I have always wanted to take up a webpage design course or something that has to do with the internet. You have inspired me. With your busy profession & family, it's great the you can still find the time to go back to school to learn something out of your comfort zone- I bow to you!!! I'm kinda disappointed with your solo pictures though, I can only see your stretch of long legs & looks like you're relaxing on some roof top. The other picture you have is side view on Wii bowling... You're a big fan of American Idol, huh.. I'm so glad David Cook won this season. His talents are a far cry from Archuletta's. Too bad, I missed the finals; my husband & I vacationed in Alaska (will post pix soon) on the final week. Thanks to youtube, I was able to watch bits n pieces of songs sang. Keep up the good work! -- Pauline

Thank you so much for your kind words, Pauline. Re my photos, that is done on purpose. I don't really like showing others my pictures. They should not be able to recognize me! hehehe
